The distinctive inscription on the band displays the Roman Numerals one through ten wrapping around the band. These numerals stand for the "TEN COMMANDMENTS", written in stone by the finger of God, and given to His people to follow as the moral code of mankind.

Around each Roman numeral is a circle, the "endless circle of love" between husband, wife and God. These circles are "entwined" to indicate that each of the Commandments given then are still relevant for life today.
